Five-star prospect visits Mizzou
In the last few months, Ben McLemore has gone from a relative unknown outside the city of St. Louis to a national star. McLemore is now rated as the No. 21 player in the country for the Class of 2011 by Rivals.com.
The 6-foot-5 shooting guard led Eskridge High School to the state's final four before the Trojans fell by a single point in the semifinals. He then hit the AAU circuit and became a household name and a five-star prospect. Through it all, McLemore has kept the Kansas Jayhawks at the top of his list and said on Thursday afternoon that hasn't changed. But McLemore is still looking at some other options.
While the Jayhawks are in the lead, Missouri has always been right there for McLemore as well. He made an unofficial visit to the Columbia campus last week.
