Nearly 11 months have passed since young Tre Walker, the first player in the 2010 recruiting class to verbally commit to Kansas State, signed his name to officially become a Wildcat that day in early February at the Heritage Center at Mahaffie in Olathe. He didn't know what to expect. All he wanted was a chance to play. And now young Walker is expected to start at linebacker against Syracuse in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl.
