It's no secret that NC State would like to land a few good offensive linemen in the 2007 recruiting class.

A new name to surface on the recruiting board in the last few weeks is Micah Grimes, 6-foot-5, 280 pounds, of Ft. Meade, Fla., High.

"No sir I really wasn't," Grimes answered when asked if he was expecting an offer. "I had one from Maryland in the ACC as far as that goes. NC State hadn't been really talking to me that much. But I talked to Coach (Dwayne) Dixon on the phone and he said I had an offer."

Grimes was pleased that the Pack step forward with an offer.
