It could be said that Bret Meyer went from gun shy to gunslinger in Iowa State's loss at Texas and the transformation couldn't have come at a better time. Meyer had one of his best performances as a Cyclone by attacking the Longhorns and meeting the attack of the UT defenders head on as well. He got knocked down a lot, but he got up every time to complete another pass.
