Junior offensive tackle taking trips
Few high school teams have the luxury of keeping a 6-6, 275-pound offensive tackle with obvious talent on their jayvee team as a sophomore, but Grand Haven did just that with now junior offensive tackle Dann O'Neill. Now 6-7 and 290 pounds, O'Neill is developing into a top flight offensive tackle prospect with the major college attention to back it up.
Despite the obvious benefit of Division 1 offensive tackle size, O'Neill has also had the benefit of being under the experienced and watchful eye of his father, a trained strength coach. O'Neill's older brother Jim, is now a freshman tight end at Western Michigan University, described last year the benefits of having a father who understands how to strength train for football.
