California specialist visits with the Beavs

BeaverBlitz.com Long snapping is something that many college programs take for granted, but not Oregon State. As has been the case in recent years, the Beavers have targeted a long snapper as a possibility to add to the Class of 2007 and this year's candidate is Marcus Perry. The 6-foot-1, 225-pounder from Eastlake High School in Chula Vista, California made a trip up to see Corvallis this past weekend, and if he hears the right words in the near future, he'll be the next addition to this year's recruiting haul.
Perry - who's been getting some fleeting attention from the likes of Fresno State and Arizona State, but is hearing the most from the Beavers - admits that he'll jump at an offer, whether it's for the fall or as a greyshirt.
