NC State looks for another upset of Va. Tech

TheWolfpacker.com Last time NC State's season seemed to be heading south, and fast, all the Wolfpack needed was a game against Virginia Tech and suddenly the Pack's fortunes had turned. It's strange considering the Hokies are tied for second place in the conference, just a half game behind Boston College.
But after two ugly losses to Duke and Virginia, NC State went to Blacksburg on Jan. 31 and knocked off the then 16th-ranked Hokies on their home court. Of course the Pack followed that up with a victory over North Carolina and everything seemed great for Sidney Lowe's team.
Since then though it's been three-straight poor efforts from the Wolfpack, but perhaps playing Virginia Tech again on Sunday can remind NC State (13-11, 3-8 ACC) of a time not so long ago when confidence was higher and the team was playing well.
