Baldwyn made it to the 2A North Half Championship game last fall before losing a hotly contested 23-20 match to Calhoun City for the rights to play in Jackson. One of the top defenders on that team was DB Dominique Davenport and he has received some interest after his play on the field as a junior. Who is recruiting him and what are his early plans?

"Mississippi State has been contacting me the most," he began. "They've been to the school. Ole Miss called and Alabama called for tapes and stuff and Arkansas State came to the school last year.

"I am just mostly looking at the SEC schools, but I just want to go somewhere that suits me and how I play and my playing style really."
