Auburn back in the mix with DE
Corey Crawford was all set to commit to Georgia last weekend. Now, the Bulldogs may be out of the picture.
Crawford, along with his Columbus (Ga.) Carver teammate, receiver Devin Burns, travelled to Athens with the intention of committing. But when they arrived, Burns learned he no longer had an offer.
Now, Carver head coach Dell McGee has banned Georgia from recruiting at his school and Crawford has opened his recruitment back up.
"After what happened to my teammate, it didn't mix well with me," Crawford said.
The 6-foot-5, 235-pound Crawford has not entirely ruled out Georgia but now has three schools he's strongly considering in Clemson, Florida State and Auburn.
Crawford, one of the South's top defensive end prospects, visited Auburn Wednesday.
