SCOOP HD: Manvel Making Waves in Norman

MANVEL, Texas - For all of the talent in Norman, Okla. for the Sooners annual Red-White game on April 14 perhaps no school brought a stronger contingent than Kirk Martin's Manvel Mavericks. Leading the charge in Norman was Martin's son, class of 2014 multi-talented Koda Martin, along with three-star Texas Tech cornerback commitment Tavares Garner, and numerous others. However, SoonerScoop.com thought it was time to take a look at some players that have already caught Oklahoma's eye as SoonerScoop.com begins it's annual far-reaching 'Road Trip'.

During his trip to Norman two weekends ago the younger Martin spent plenty of time around offensive tackles/tight ends coach Bruce Kittle and after watching the 6-foot-6 245-pound rising junior up close it's not hard to understand why.
