Carrington commitment in depth

It has been a busy summer for Darren Carrington. After attending the June Rivals100 Challenge in Atlanta, the Oregon wide receiver commit followed that up with a trip to Beaverton, Oregon in July for the Opening. At those two events, Carrington saw many of the top football recruits in the country. He also got a better grasp of the type of athletes he'll be facing when he arrives in Eugene next year.

Duck Sport Authority met up with the Rivals three-star rated recruit while he was in Oregon to get some details on his decision to choose the Ducks earlier this summer.

"I got a good feel for Coach Frost when he came to my school and I've always loved the school," began Carrington. "So when I visited and saw everything they had to offer as a player, the (Jaqua) Academic Center, the facilities and the things they can do to increase your level of play. It was just ridiculous."

DSA asked the 6-foot-2, 187-pound standout what he knew about his future position coach.
