With FSU offer in hand, talented OL has options
If you ask most coaches, they will tell you that you can never have too many offensive linemen - especially ones of the talented variety. That is why it comes as no surprise that so many schools across the country have extended scholarship offers to four-star Pelion (SC) offensive guard Dalton Freeman.
"I think I have 23 or 24 offers now and I am trying to keep things very open," Freeman said. "I do have my certain favorites and stuff like that but I try to keep everything open."
The reason why Freeman says he must keep his options open has a lot to do with a recent visit. During a vacation last week Freeman took a visit to the University of Central Florida's campus and football facilities to learn more about the school. He said he went into the visit expecting a small school and came away shocked.
