So much has happened since the end of the season that we almost forget it hasn't been that long since Dabo Swinney was rumored to be in the conversation for a job at an SEC school.

Why yes, it was less than two months ago when Texas A&M fired Jimbo Fisher and Swinney's name popped up shortly thereafter. There was not much to the A&M buzz. We do know that the Aggies did call, but the conversation was short.

And that of course brings us to the Alabama opening.
