McElrathbey commits to Clemson

I9wsxpf8abfvcrn7dakj first reports the fourth verbal commitment for the Clemson Tigers in Atlanta, Ga. - Mays athlete Ramon McElrathbey, a 6-foot, 185-pound two-way star who has been dominant at Clemson's camp this week. McElrathbey becomes the third pledge from camp this week, and the second today. has learned that Atlanta, Ga. - Mays star Ramon McElrathbey has made a verbal commitment to the Clemson Tigers, what took place earlier today.
McElrathbey, a 6-foot, 185-pounder with sub 4.5/40 speed, has had a stellar showing in Clemson's camp this week, though he did have an offer from the Tigers prior to his appearance in camp.
Holding a respectable 3.0 GPA, and projected to fully-qualify academically, the Atlanta blue-chipper spent time at quarterback, running back and safety this past season.
He is the fourth verbal commitment for the Tigers this spring, the third this week, and the second today, as earlier this morning Bennettsville - Marlboro County star Rendrick Taylor also pledged to Clemson.
McElrathbey was recruited by Clemson running backs coach Burton Burns.
