Now they're getting somewhere.

The spring evaluation period formally began a couple of weeks ago, and like many of its peers, Clemson's staff eased into the waters.

Much of the first few weeks of the spring evaluation period is about cultivating or sustaining relationships, extending camp invitations and overall fostering trust and engagement. There's value in all of that, and it's a big purpose of the spring eval period.

But those April flowers are now replaced by May's powers on the recruiting trail.
