Clemson made a huge push this month with a four-star who spent a full three-day session at the Dabo Swinney Camp.
Bowling Green (Ky.) South Warren defensive tackle Jacob Lacey was playing in a “Swinney Ball” game midway through the opening session when line coach Todd Bates pulled him aside while his parents watched.
After then chatting for 10 minutes with Swinney at his golf cart, Swinney snuck into the conversation that Clemson had offered.
