Tigerillustrated.com, the No. 1 authority on Clemson football and recruiting, and the virtual Mecca for coverage, has been online since 1999.

Owner, publisher and recruiting analyst Cris Ard, a native of Cheraw, SC, has covered recruiting in the state of South Carolina since 1993.

Ard, 33, published a newsletter covering Clemson football and recruiting - The Clemson Beat - from 1995-99. In 1999 he was named publisher of Supertiger.com, which would later evolve into TigerRoar.net, a domain that was purchased by Ard in September of 2001. In 2002 the site underwent its final transformation, this time to Tigerillustrated.com.

In December of 2003 Ard began to publish the site's companion (print) publication, Tiger Illustrated (the magazine).
