THE WEST ZONE message board | SHOP NOW: DEALS on CLEMSON apparel
CLEMSON –- A long memory is not required for Clemson fans to know the importance of snapping the football.
Three years ago, an inability to master that rudimentary action was a massive part of an overtime loss at Florida State. Take care of that detail on the goal line in the third quarter, and Clemson is probably looking back at three consecutive ACC division titles instead of two straight.
So as plenty of casual observers will mention names before Jay Guillermo on the list of departed offensive stars that will be hardest to replace, the people who are paying closer attention know that center has to rank up there too.
Heck, even the man who’s charged with replacing Guillermo knows that snapping supersedes all else at this position.
