When Indiana coach Tom Allen traveled to conduct his in-home visit with Blacksburg (S.C.) three-star commitment Elijah Rodgers late in 2017, a wrench was thrown into the evening plans.

Rodgers' father, the girls high school varsity basketball coach, had to stay late for a JV game.
