Hearn to enter the NFL Draft

THE WEST ZONE message board | SHOP NOW: DEALS on CLEMSON apparel

CLEMSON -- Clemson junior offensive guard Taylor Hearn tells Tigerillustrated.com he will bypass his senior season and enter the NFL Draft.

"It's just time," Hearn said.

He is set to graduate tomorrow.

The Tigers' starting left guard in each of the last two years had been contemplating an early jump for the last several months.

When asked, Hearn declined to reveal feedback on a potential draft grade (projection) he has received from the NFL Underclassmen Advisory Committee.

The 6-foot-5, 330-pound Hearn, who is a native of Williston, is likely to be replaced at guard in the spring by sophomore lineman John Simpson.

Tigerillustrated.com will have more on Hearn's decision later today and tomorrow.
