THE WEST ZONE message board | SHOP NOW: DEALS on CLEMSON apparel
CLEMSON -- Dan Radakovich's first official football game on the job came against LSU in December of 2012.
Clemson beat the Bayou Bengals that night in Atlanta. Since, Clemson has played 71 games and won 62 of them. You might have heard about one of those wins granting the Tigers a national championship.
When the football success is this stunningly spectacular at a football-crazy school, it suggests that an AD who took over during the ascent has a pretty easy job.
Everything and everyone looks better when a master program builder and leader, one William Christopher Swinney, is presiding over the fruition of the vision that was just an idea when Terry Don Phillips made that fateful decision in 2008.
So yes, it's true that a good part of Radakovich's job as it relates to football is just getting out of the way and letting the man continue to work his magic.
