1. The theme for this edition is connectivity.

Connectivity between peers in a specific class. Between targets across separate cycles. Between players present and, Clemson hopes, players future. And between this round of visits and potentially the next to come.

As we built up over the preceding two weeks, the Tigers held an underclassmen day Saturday. At least 17 members of the Rivals250 for the 2025 class were on hand, along with two other coveted prospects in the 2026 class.

Meanwhile, Clemson also played host to a pair of targets for the current class who each had multiple underclassmen teammates in the building.

You've got to love when a plan comes together.

Many of those rising juniors will be the ones to whom Clemson doles out its opening offers for the next class come June 1.

So it certainly didn't hurt for the Tigers to begin attempting to craft relationships within the group.

Clemson has three more spring practices in advance of next week's spring game, and prospects are expected to attend each one.

But these appearances are as much to set the table for June, when the Tigers hold their major official visit weekend as well as attempt to attract as many candidates for the next class to the Dabo Swinney Camps or just for campus visits during the month.

The wheels are in motion ...

2. So we start with whom we characterized as the marquee name in town, and that was Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day five-star 2025 offensive tackle David Sanders.

Sanders (6-6, 255) is ranked No. 2 in his class by Rivals.com.

But as we informed subscribers in February, Clemson has already been sending the message he is No. 1 in the staff's collective heart.
