The spring window for the football transfer portal begins Wednesday and stays open for 10 days for players to submit entry.

That doesn't mean players have to decide a new destination by then, and per protocol, grad transfers are still allowed to come and go whenever they want.

Furthermore, players can announce their intent to enter the portal as they please beforehand.
