Clemson and South Carolina haven't crossed paths all that often on the recruiting trail in recent years, for obvious reasons.

But with an increase in attractive in-state options over the next two cycles, and with the Gamecocks showing some signs of life, Saturday's 7:30 p.m. game in Columbia figures to carry some weight.

We do know that at least one mutual target will be among South Carolina's guests.
