Amazing how a week's worth of storylines can hinge on two or three plays.

The hot topic coming out of the Florida State game was the Tigers' inability to put away the Seminoles.

Why can't the offense close the deal from one yard out? Why can't Kelly Bryant protect the football? Why is he air-mailing receivers on routine throws? Why can't Deon Cain consistently catch the ball?

Don't misunderstand: These are valid storylines. No one is going to dispute that. The head man himself knows these issues have to get resolved if this team is going to achieve what it hopes.

That said, there are other themes that get pushed to the side in the pursuit of asking about and talking about and writing about the aforementioned topics.
