The 5-foot-11, 220-pounder from Elberton, Ga., has yet to set his sights on a specific school.

He appeared in seven games this past season, rushing for 109 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries.

Dye carried a four-star rating out of high school and was ranked as the nation’s No. 217 prospect by Rivals.com.

Clemson will lean on available running backs Tavien Feaster, C.J. Fuller and Adam Choice this spring and into the 2017 season.

The Tigers' staff also is expected to sign a 2017 running back on February 1, National Signing Day. Clemson offered another running back prospect Thursday, as Tigerillustrated.com reported earlier Thursday.
