High profile Clemson verbal commit Tee Higgins of Oak Ridge (Tenn.) moved up to five stars Monday in the latest Rivals.com national rankings. Higgins had been rated a 6.0 or a high four-star for much of his recruitment.

The blue-chip wideout now becomes the third Clemson pledge in the 2017 recruiting class to hold a five-star billing, joining A.J. Terrell of Atlanta (Ga.) Westlake, the nation's No. 2 cornerback recruit and Hunter Johnson of Brownsburg (Ind.), the nation's No. 1-rated drop-back quarterback prospect.

Clemson's recruiting class ranks 7th nationally, according to Rivals.com, although third nationally in terms of star rating or power rating average (3.93), trailing only Ohio State (4.19) and Alabama (4.04)
