Rarely is sentiment unanimous, and it was not in this case. But a common belief among the people we spoke with in recent weeks was that Dabo Swinney was not going to make changes after an 11-win season, after an ACC championship and a trip to the Orange Bowl.

"No way," one person said two weeks ago when we asked about major change.

While our information does not point to more firings, Swinney has unquestionably and unequivocally sent the message that everyone in the program is on notice.
